Single Reviews

I TOLD YOU SO

Singer: CARRIE UNDERWOOD feat. RANDY TRAVIS

This is the final single from Carrie’s 2-platinum-soon-will-be-3-platinum album, Carnival Ride. It was originally sung by Randy Travis almost 20 years ago. Carrie covered it for Carnival Ride, and re-mastered by Randy later.

Carrie sings this song beautifully as always. So does Randy. I can tell that this is Carrie’s ‘countriest’ song.

The blonde beauty performed this song on Idol few days ago with Randy. They sang incredibly amazing and so touching. This performance helped the song to have a big boost at iTunes song chart. It now remains at number three of all genre and number one in the country genre.

No doubt that I TOLD YOU SO will be Carrie’s next number one at HOT COUNTRY SONG!

Anyway, this song is doing well at GAC(#3 this week) and CMT (#2 this week).

THE CLIMB

Singer: MILEY CYRUS

Miley’s newest single is cracking the chart like a storm! It gains lot of spins at radio, Top 40 and even Country radio. MW loves the inspirational lyric. Nothing I can say more about this song…..Just love it!

WHITE HORSE

Singer: TAYLOR SWIFT

White Horse is Taylor second single from her 3 times platinum, Fearless. Taylor wrote it herself. This song made its first appearance during the episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

It talks about a girl (Taylor) who admired a boy but the boy was not being faithful and now Taylor has become successful, the boy came to her and apologized but the girl said that it’s too late for him and his white horse to come around. Nice lyric.

White Horse is also doing as well as her previous hit, Love Story. It peaked at number 13 at Hot 100 and number 2 at Hot Country Song (likely to hit number one next two weeks). It also becomes the first video to debut at number one at CMT Top 20 Countdown. But White Horse hasn’t done so well at GAC Countdown, yet!
